Le Mesturet

Alain Fontaine’s family settled in the Bourse district at the end of the 18th century. Passionate about cooking since his teenage years, he fondly remembers Sunday family lunches. He is deeply attached to the tradition and lifestyle of bistros and cafés—to the point that he had them listed as part of France’s cultural heritage. At Le Mesturet, you can still find hard-boiled eggs at the counter, and on the menu, real steak tartare, beef bourguignon, frog legs, and an authentic Paris-Brest. Better than good!
