Ulla Winbladh offers one of Stockholm's most complete introductions to traditional Swedish restaurant cooking. Set in a handsome historic inn on Djurgården, it feels removed from the centre while remaining an easy walk from the island's museums. The menu treats classics with care: Toast Skagen, herring, cured salmon, meatballs with cream sauce and lingonberries, fried Baltic herring, Biff Rydberg and poached cod with browned butter. Seasonal customs—from midsummer and crayfish to goose and Christmas—are taken seriously, making the calendar part of the experience.
