Getting around

Central Göteborg is compact and easy to explore on foot. Västtrafik trams, buses and public-transport ferries use the same tickets, and the To Go app is useful for routes and live service information.

Arriving

Göteborg Landvetter Airport is about 20 kilometres southeast of the centre. Airport buses run to Korsvägen and Göteborg Central’s Nils Ericson Terminal; the trip usually takes around 20–30 minutes. The central station also has rail connections to Stockholm, Oslo, Malmö and Copenhagen.
